■Summary

The number of woody biomass power plants is increasing exponentially.
Woody biomass power generation is a clean energy, but it produces wood ash. Most of these are taken to the landfill site.
Therefore, we verified whether it is possible to make functional materials using these as raw materials.

■Result

We have developed a weed control agent product "Weed Barrier“ made from wood ash.
